Two of Nine Huntington Deeds Carry a Price, Both Tied to Foreclosure
Huntington recorded nine deeds between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only six represented actual property transfers; the other three were homestead declarations and a mortgage modification, not sales. Of those six transfers, just two carried a price: $150,000 at 73 County Rd. and $180,598 at 6 Pine
Huntington recorded nine deeds between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, but only six represented actual property transfers; the other three were homestead declarations and a mortgage modification, not sales. Of those six transfers, just two carried a price: $150,000 at 73 County Rd. and $180,598 at 6 Pine St., the period's top sale, putting the median at $165,299. Both priced transactions moved from a homeowner to a mortgage lender or credit union rather than to a new resident. Price data for the other four transfers has not yet posted. With so little pricing available, the month's data cannot support a read on market direction.
